FRIDAY 3 APRIL – 2PM
Weekly Tourism Webinar – Friday 3 April at 2pm
Tourism Australia will be hosting weekly webinars every Friday, to keep industry connected and informed as you try to navigate your business and people through the current crisis. We will bring you the most up-to-date information direct from the relevant experts.
We will be hosting our second webinar this Friday 3 April from 2-3 pm. Last week we had over 2000 people on the webinar for the Minister and Deputy CMO – which clearly demonstrates how important it is to all of you that we stay informed and connected as we face the current crisis head on.
PM joining this week’s call
This week, the Prime Minister will join the webinar to give the tourism sector a direct update on the current state of play and his perspective. This will be followed by senior representatives from the Australian Taxation Office and Services Australia to talk about some of the support available for individuals and businesses. I will also be giving an update on TA’s current activity.
Please register hfor this week’s call. Given the large volumes of people registering I would encourage you to sign up early.
Q & A – submit questions in advance
Last week we had lots of questions – and with so many of the call – it is difficult to answer them all. This week we are asking for any questions for our guests in advance so we can ask those questions that most people want to know. We have added an additional field to fill out during registration which allows you to do this. There will also still be the opportunity to lodges questions on the day as well though.
