Waste is covert in many aspects of business, sometimes deviously but always adversely and at your cost.

In this workshop, you will look at where wastage can occur in your business using a checklist to identify areas of squander. You will explore what can be done to improve your operations and your profitability and increase your business sustainability. You may even decide to add a Column in your Cash Book called “Waste”!

We will look at ways to improve your recycling efforts at little or no cost to you, and help you identify the best system for you to reduce your costs and landfill contributions. You may also be eligible for rebates on equipment you purchase which diverts waste from landfill!

You will learn:
• How to identify areas of waste in your business.
• What can be done to improve operations and your profitability, increase your sustainability and improve your business acumen
• How to improve your recycling efforts at little or no cost to you.!
At the completion of the session you will leave with:
• A checklist identifying actions you can take to improve your waste processes
• Knowledge of the importance of waste management in all areas of your business
• An opportunity to implement new information and increase your profits.

This IN-PERSON workshop is designed for anyone in business who wants more information on how to manage waste in the business. 

The workshop is limited to 20 attendees and is available to business owners in the Wollongong region and surrounds who are registered customers of the Business Connect program.

About the presenter – Deborah has over twenty years marketing experience, developing end-to-end marketing strategies, campaigns and innovative promotional ideas for a diverse range of SME’s and large multi-nationals. As the National Advertising & Production Manager within the film distribution industry Deborah managed national marketing budgets for major film releases. As the Group Manager Consumer in PR consultancies, and in her own consultancy for over 12 years Deborah worked with national accounts, wineries and a diverse range of SME clients in NSW, Qld, SA, and London.
